This project, overall, was very fun. It was a lot better than writing a paper and turning in. I had the question “is there life after death?” for my topic. I chose this because I have always been interested in the supernatural. Some of my family has claimed that they have had encounters with other family members beyond the grave and told me that everyone can see or hear the paranormal; it is just a matter of unleashing powers within the human mind.
One thing that I learned was that there are 5 different types of hauntings: apparitions, physical haunting of a place, poltergeists, evil presences, and phenomena from messing with spirits beyond the grave. Poltergeists are the most common of all hauntings in our society. I also researched the scientific and spiritual aspects of a haunting. Spiritually, Christians are the faith that believes in a spirit because it says that the Lord died and then 3 days later reappeared. They also speak of demons and angels which were people before their death, especially in the book of Job. Catholics always keep people that exercise in case of demonic possessions, but they are rarely talked about. They say that people are more open about their sex lives than they are talking about ghosts. On the scientific note, they say that ghosts are stuck in a sort of “tape loop” where they do not realize they are dead, but they still walk around with the same clothes on of their time period while going about their daily routines.
After this project, I believe in ghosts more than I did before. I never knew that there was ever a pattern in the spirit world, but now I realize it is very much so. I also have a greater respect for the dead because so many people just take them for granted and criticize things that it makes me sick. The thing I would like to of improved on is getting a source that sort of shows how people fake ghost sightings, pictures, or things like that. This project was way better than a paper that I would have written.

live interaction
The interaction that I did was go to Bass Cemetery off of Ruffner Road. I took pictures of the gravestones, the ones which I could understand, and made a dvd. There is a fence on one corner of the cemetery that is broken that, legend has it, if you pass through it three times, you will be haunted. The whole cemetery was very unkept and trashy for something very sacred. The place has people buried from the civil war and slaves. Some say that it is haunted because of the unrested souls and others say it is because of the demonic rituals that have taken place inside the cemetery. Either one, I felt a strange vibe the moment I turned into Bass.
This was a very fun experience for me. I enjoyed going to a cemetery with such history. I was so distraut by the things that people do. Almost all the graves had been pushed down off their pedestal or broken in half. Sometimes, people have gone as so far as to take the half of the gravestones away from there or even thrown them across the field. As soon as I pulled up into Bass, I felt a little erie. I felt that there was someone walking along side me while I was taking the pictures. I was hoping for a smear or wisp in the pictures, but, as some critics say, it is very rare to see ghosts in pictures.
